Before They Set Nigeria Ablaze Again by DELE MOMODU

πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”» Fellow Nigerians, let me confess my sadness over the unfortunate, illogical and irrational bickering and grandstanding going on all over our dear beloved country at the moment. At the outset of my epistle today, let me confess my exceptional love for this country named Nigeria. Say what you will, Nigeria was created great despite the amalgamation of birds of different feathers. It was not for fun that our country was made the biggest black nation on planet earth. We are better and stronger as a bigger country than as tiny fragments that some people want us to become in their pipe dreams. I disagree vehemently with anyone who insists that the only solution to our myriad of problems, and the only way out of our forests of a thousand daemons, is to break up this gigantic entity called Nigeria. I say without any equivocation that they are wrong, very wrong! Our situation could be compared to the challenges of being in a marriage. There are moments you ask yourself what y

President Buhari And The Battle For Nigeria by DELE MOMODU

Fellow Nigerians, let’s call a spade a spade, and not by any other name today. I’m seriously perturbed that while our dear President is indisposed, for now, some of his so-called friends are only interested in consolidating themselves in power. I think President Muhammadu Buhari deserves better than this. Hate him or love him, President Buhari remains one of the most honest Nigerians alive today. Not even his worst enemy would accuse him of being a corrupt leader. As a prominent Nigerian businessman once told us: “I can’t imagine anyone discussing deals with President Buhari… The atmosphere would not be conducive…” We all concur to that. I’m of the opinion that it is not Buhari’s fault that he has health challenges. All mortals are prone to sicknesses. No President is immune from it, simply by virtue of his occupation of that position. Even if he has not divulged his exact ailment, he’s been honest enough to tell us that he’s never been this sick before. That is honesty and humility

In-Laws Pounced On A Wife Beater by Kola Olaniran

In-Laws Pounced On A Wife Beater. By Kola Olaniran The days of beating one's wife and getting away with it seem to be coming to an end. If you're one of those who delight in beating their wives, you may not find this story funny. Far away in India, a husband beat his wife black and blue, leaving her with a swollen eye. This action triggered the anger of the wife's family members who organized an irate mob to visit their wrathful reprisal on the irresponsible husband. I'm sure by the time they're done with him, he must have promised himself that till the rest of his life, he will never raise his hand on a fly talk less of his wife. Watch the video here:

Wealth Generation: How To Be Rich by Kola Olaniran

Wealth Generation: How To Be Rich. By Kola Olaniran πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”» If you are a big spender of money, shopaholic but not workaholic, you're treading on the path of poverty. Wealth generation  begins with being satisfied with what you have and looking forward to acquiring responsibly more possessions from future incomes.  SATISFACTION: Most people have enough clothes and shoes πŸ‘  but they have made it a habit (a very bad one) that each time they get salaries or earn income, a certain percentage must go into purchasing designer's outfits with all the name brands. Most people have been stuck in the cocoon of "One Life To Live" cliche. πŸ”»You can not be earning a low income salary and be living a middle class lifestyle.πŸ”» You must face the realities of self-delusion when you're a low income person and you're trying to impress a middle income person so as to place you on the same class. Be satisfied with what you have. Think of how to lift yourself and other people up
