In-Laws Pounced On A Wife Beater. By Kola Olaniran


The days of beating one's wife and getting away with it seem to be coming to an end.
If you're one of those who delight in beating their wives, you may not find this story funny.

Far away in India, a husband beat his wife black and blue, leaving her with a swollen eye. This action triggered the anger of the wife's family members who organized an irate mob to visit their wrathful reprisal on the irresponsible husband.

I'm sure by the time they're done with him, he must have promised himself that till the rest of his life, he will never raise his hand on a fly talk less of his wife.

  Ajuri Ngelale  Citing medical reasons, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President; Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen, Mr Ajuri Ngelale has offered to step down from his position. This was contained in a memo he sent to the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila.
