Earthquake Shook Nepal, Over 1,000 Dead

NEPAL; An earthquake with about 7.9 magnitude shook villages about fifty miles from the country's capital, Kathmandu. Residents in the capital scampered for safety as there were reports of collapsed buildings leaving over 1,000 people dead and thousands injured in the villages where the earthquake took place.
