Diezani Is ill by Kola Ola Olaniran

She had everything at her beck and call. She was dining with kings, she was feasting with queens, she was partying with princes and she was reveling with princesses.

She was a paragon of beauty with shining skin, rosy cheeks, sexy and dazzling eyeballs, soft lips, natural hunch shoulder, well-padded hips, well-structured body.... name it, she had it all-naturally endowed.

Once you looked at her, you wouldn't want to keep your eyes off her. Because of her, men had become neck twisters and neck breakers. If she passed by you, you would want to twist your neck to take a look at her again and again.

Someone once put her beauty in alphabetical order of adorable, beautiful, colorful, delectable, elegant, flamboyant, glamorous and gorgeous.....zestful.

She was given the juiciest appointment of petroleum Minister in the former government of ex president Goodluck Jonathan and she was alleged to have stolen about 9 billion US Dollars which means if her wealth was made official, the Forbes would have declared her the richest black woman in the world.

Sadly today, she's paling into obscurity. The once most powerful figure among fellow ministers in Nigeria, Mrs Diezani Allison-Madueke is terminally ill, stricken with cancer of the breast. The sickness started when she was in office but every attempt to make it public was covered up. Some newspapers and online journals carried the reports of her illness but she dismissed them as "TT" (tabloid trash) and offline journal trash.

When allegations of financial impropriety came up, all efforts to interview her met with brickwall but finally the boss of The BOSS, Mr Dele Momodu had an interview with her in London where she revealed that she is indeed sick and not just sick, she is down with cancer of the breast.

Since then Nigerians of all walks of life have rolled out their sense of humanity and acts of kindness praying for her recovery. We all know that when wealth is lost, not much is lost but when health is lost, all is lost. Please pray for Diezani, no matter what she might have done wrong, there's no reason to gloat over other people's misfortunes but wait! did l hear someone say pray for the recovery of the huge money

she was alleged to have stolen too because no one takes money to heaven. We brought nothing into the world and we will go with nothing.
