Yinka Odumakin Is Dead

 The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, the Yoruba Socio-cultural Group, Yinka Odumakin is dead.




His Wife Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin confirmed the news of his death which took place at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Lagos.

Odumakin who hailed from Moro near Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Government met his wife Josephine, another prominent civil right activist at a detention facility in Alagbon Lagos during the Sani Abacha military junta.

Yinka fought for justice, equity and egalitarian society. Tributes have been pouring in for him from all over the world.

Presidential Spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale Steps Down.

  Ajuri Ngelale  Citing medical reasons, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President; Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen, Mr Ajuri Ngelale has offered to step down from his position. This was contained in a memo he sent to the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila.
