Between Rotimi Williams (Timi The Law) and Gani Fawehinmi:



When Chief Rotimi Williams, full name Chief Frederick Rotimi Alade Williams, CFR, CON, SAN, HLR popularly known as Timi The Law was angry with Chief Gani Fawehinmi’s statement in the courtroom, he asked the judge to warn Gani to stop giving him ‘the Greek Gift’.

Fawehinmi in his apology said, “your worship sir and with due respect to my senior colleague, next time I will change it to ‘The Nigerian Gift.’

Thereafter, the Judge, Chief Williams, Chief Fawehinmi and the entire court erupted in an uncontrollable laughter for over three minutes.

Williams then walked to Fawehinmi, shook his hand, looked him in the eyes and said, ”I love you but ‘The Nigerian Gift’? That’s even worse!”

And the whole court bursted into laughter again.

We miss these great men.
