 Nigeria’s first Chartered accountant Chief Akintola Williams dies at 104. He died early this Monday morning.


Chief Akintola who was the older brother of the late legal luminary Chief Fredrick Alade Rotimi Williams popularly known as Timi the Law was born on 9th August 1919.

A highly principled man, the doyen of accounting celebrated his 104th birthday just last month in a very good spirit.

Chief Williams was one of the founders of Egbe Omo Oduduwa a socio-cultural organization that metamorphosed into a political party the Action Group alongside Chief Obafemi Awolowo, he fought for a just and egalitarian society.
