Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance (or Secretary of  Treasury) and the Nigerian-American economist who is now the Director General of the World Trade Organization was at the 2023 G20 Leaders Summit which took place in India. 



She shares one of her great moments where the US President Joe Biden takes a selfie of the two.



Dr Iweala feels so honored when she posts the pictures on her X (Twitter) page with a message that says, “At the G20 leaders Summit. Some great moments with President Joe Biden @POTUS and also with @JakeSullivan46 National Security Advisor, discussing @WTO reform especially reform of the Dispute Settlement System. President Biden surprised us by taking a photo of me, my staff and @JakeSullivan46”

  Prof Akin Adesina Charismatic and ebullient African Development Bank President, Professor Akin Adesina has tasked the governments across the globe especially African countries on the social contract between society and government. Speaking at the Chatham House, the policy center for global affairs in London, Adesina highlights the importance of government playing its roles while enforcing compliance with citizens paying taxes.  He emphasized that the government has a responsibility to provide infrastructure to the people with the taxes they pay.
