Obama's Ist Day On Twitter Got 1.6 Million Followers

"If you think you're leading and no one is following, you're Just taking a walk" -John C Maxwell ------- The internet world stood still when the amiable President of the United State joined the Twitter and dazzled the world with 1.6 Million followers on the first day. As soon as his Twitter account was announced, thousands of Twitter users thronged to their key boards to express their outpouring of love for the man who is seen as an inspiration to many especially the global Youths. Mr Obama whose campaign mantra, "Yes We Can" got his baptism of love when he jokingly twitted, "Hello Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account" And guess who first took him to task on the choice of POTUS as Twitter account? Bill Clinton, ex president who asked Obama, "Does the username stay with the office? Obama replied, "Good question @billclinton. The handle come with the house. Know anyone interested in @FLOTUS? Bill Clinton himself, a much-loved president all around the world currently has 3.5 million followers in his Twitter account. Obama, whose @BarackObama Twitter account is being run by Organizing For America (OFA) has 65 million followers and is trailing behind Katy Perry the 30 year old singer who has 69 million followers (the highest followers) on Twitter. Other celebrities with large numbers of followers on Twitter are Taylor Swift 58m, Oprah Winfrey 27.5m, Bill Gate 22m, and Beyonce Knowles 14m
